A remodeled bungalow in Chattanooga's historic St. Elmo neighborhood is featured in the October edition of Southern Living magazine, according to a news release.
The report is part of the Southern Living's redesigned October edition which hits newsstands on Tuesday.
Homeowner George Krauth waited for the bungalow to go on sale and then "made an offer on the spot," according to the magazine.
"The story details how he decorated his cozy home with family heirlooms, one-of-a-kind vintage finds and ingenuity," according to the news release.
Featured in the article are decorating ideas that anyone can use including:
* How to install a custom porch swing.
* Using documents such as blueprints and letters as art objects.
* How to cluster collectibles for visual appeal.
* Using corks as cabinet hardware.
